MIDNIGHT LINES
In the series draw your house plants, this is a short activity you can easily do at home.
All you need is some black or dark paper, and a white chalk marker or watered down white paint.
All you need is some black or dark paper, and a white chalk marker or watered down white paint.
- Take the marker or a brush and record what you see in your chosen house plant. Record the space around the leaves as well as the details of branches and the leaf insertion into the branches.
- Draw things several times as overlapping the white lines, will make things stand out.
- Don't worry if you make a mistake or if the lines overlap
- Add some shading to some of the leaves to make them look like they are folding
Well done for taking the time to observe and draw an object around you.
